“The Matrix” and “Sense8” co-creator Lilly Wachowski has boarded “The Day Before,” an indie sci-fi short written, directed and starring Alexandra Grey. Grey leads an ensemble cast that includes Matthew Law (“Nemesis,” “Abbott Elementary”), Jamie Clayton (“Sense8,” “Hellraiser”) and Alexander David Pleasant (“Abbott Elementary”).
