Five centuries after humanity vanished under the onslaught of enigmatic beasts, the remaining races cling to floating islands above the clouds, safe from most monsters. Only the young Leprechaun girls can wield ancient weapons to repel the occasional beast incursions, living precarious lives where death looms at every turn.

Their world is shaken by the sudden revival of Willem, the last human, frozen in ice since the final battle. Stripped of his warrior role, he becomes a surrogate father, guiding the girls through grief and duty while they all grapple with the true meaning of family and what they must protect.
