Souta Takanashi, a self‑confessed fan of all things tiny and adorable, is roped into a part‑time gig at Wagnaria, a bustling family diner in Hokkaido. He quickly discovers that Popura, the earnest yet eternally youthful waitress, is eager for his help, while his affection for her only deepens her own insecurities about appearing too young.

The restaurant’s staff is a parade of eccentric personalities: a sword‑wielding floor chief, a stern head chef with a hidden soft side, a mischievous sous chef who knows too much, a perpetually lazy manager, and a timid waitress terrified of men. Their daily clashes and camaraderie turn ordinary service into a nonstop comedy of quirks and chaos.
