Shinichiro lives a seemingly ideal high‑school life, yet his world is tinged with quiet longing. A cheerful classmate, Hiromi, has been staying with his family after her father's death, and while she shines on the field and in the classroom, Shinichiro senses a hidden sorrow beneath her smile. He sketches her in watercolor, hoping his art might soothe the unspoken pain, but his own shyness keeps him from bridging the distance between them.

Complicating matters, Shinichiro is teased by a friend for his secret observations, cursed by a mysterious girl named Noe, and forced into an odd traditional dance. As he tries to help Noe lift his own burdens, he discovers that untangling his feelings may be the hardest part of his everyday routine.
