On the remote island of Altomare, a kindly elderly couple rescues two injured children who quickly recover, only for the island to be besieged by monstrous forces. In a stunning turn, the children reveal themselves as the legendary Eon Pokémon, Latios and Latias, and summon a celestial ally bearing the Soul Dew—a gem capable of repelling the invaders and restoring peace.

Years later, the peace is threatened when a scheming pair, Zannâ and Rion, hunt the twins to seize the Soul Dew’s power. Drawn into the conflict, a young trainer befriends Latias and must help defend Altomare from looming devastation.
