Hayate the Combat Butler

After a series of disastrous jobs leaves Hayate Ayasaki drowning in debt, his desperate family sells him to the yakuza. Facing a grim deadline to repay the loan before a gruesome fate, he hatches a plan to kidnap the eccentric heiress Nagi Sanzenin for ransom. The scheme backfires when he inadvertently saves her from rival abductors, and Nagi discovers he’s the guardian she’s been seeking.
