Elfen Lied

A secretive government project has imprisoned a race of horned mutants whose psychic powers can shatter anything in their path. When one of them, a volatile young woman, escapes the facility, she slaughters her captors before being gravely wounded and washing ashore. Amnesiac and clutching only a single word, she is taken in by two ordinary teenagers who offer her shelter, unaware of the lethal force that still lurks beneath her fragile façade.
